“ I see why this restaurant is 4 an a half stars. Service was phenomenal. Our waiter was so nice and attentive. Ambiance was classy I love the red booths and the light up menus. Great restaurant for a date night, celebrations or family outing. Food was delicious. I love seafood and this is by far the best fine dining seafood restaurant I tried. The award winning carrot cake is too die for, its a must try. You won't be disappointed. ”

“ Went for an event and loved the food and service. The room we were in was large and spacious and very clean. The menu choices were a good range as well. The bread was amazing. Very soft and fluffy the butter was perfect temperature. The lobster bisque was great flavor. A bit spicy but overall not too too hot. Shrimp was great and very large. Did not take pictures of broccoli, mash potatoes or carrot cake. You must get the carrot cake!! The wait staff also was very attentive. Would come back either for an event or just with friends or family. ”

“ I truly enjoyed the hospitality at Truluck's. My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. They decorated the table and gave us a card. Multiple managers came to greet us and congratulate us. Let's get to the food. The bread was soft and flavorful, but it was not complimentary just an FYI. We both had the Cesar salad which was pretty simple to any other Cesar salad. Prime meatballs were good and had a nice sweet kick to them. I had the redfish which was well seasoned and topped with a shrimp and crawfish sauce. My husband preferred my redfish over his salmon due to it not being as seasoned as the redfish. Creamed spinach and Mac and cheese was flavorful. I don't always like to get Mac and cheese in fine dining restaurants , but I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. On a Saturday night, they had live music which was a nice touch. Overall, a pleasant fine dining experience! ”

“ What an amazing meal this was! Service was great, the food very very good. Expect dark and cozy vibes inside. Started off with a little zero proof drink; the Berry Patch left a memorable taste, imagine what the color of creamy pink tastes like, and it's that. Yummy and sweet but not overly so. Lobster bisque and the crab cake with lemon was just the savory start, then the lobster and sea bass was satisfying. Slowly ended the meal with their top notch carrot cake and affogato. As a sweet touch they brought out their very special Eskimo style cake for our anniversary and omg the slightly burnt marshmallow style topping made me feel like I was camping fancy style ;) Will be back for another special occasion!! ”

“ Birthdays.... IYKYK. This year, I was "forced" to celebrate. I do not dread or hate birthdays; age is merely a number. I just do not prefer to celebrate.... Until this year, when SOMEONE makes it a (lovely) thing. So here we are, pulling into a large roomy parking lot not knowing where this reservation was or what I was eating. I had never been, so it was all a surprise. I had always heard about it but had never been. Walking in, it's a swanky ambience, with low lights, and large glass cases full of grape blood. Everything was decked out in holiday style. Their menus are backlit, making visibility amazingly easy for those that may have a challenging time with the small print. The service from door to door was impeccable. As I stuck the landing into our booth, I noticed a birthday card and a bunch of stars and glittery things strewn about the table. A nice distinctive touch by the establishment, much appreciated. Let us talk about sustenance. The bread was the first thing out, and OMFG it was great. I am a card-carrying carb monster, and I love a good yeast loaf. It was so fluffy and the toupee of cheese atop the delicate construction was like feather on a cloud. I could have gone rounds with that bread. The Lady ordered the Voila! A dry Iced vodka concoction that not only looks good on camera (see the photos) but tastes good too! As the season dictates, I had the Holiday Nog. With a creamy bourbon whipped topping, this one will warm you head to toe on the coldest day. For the second snacking, we ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari. The flavor on this was fantastic, blistered shishito peppers, red peppers, thai basil, and a sweet chili glaze was very flavorful. I really enjoyed it; the only thing was that it was soft, and I would have loved it to be a bit crispier. We ordered a half dozen raw oysters, I dont remember the location of their previous habitat off the top of my head. These were very fresh, and delicious! The Miso Glazed Seabass was perfect. Seared and resting atop a bed of Crab Fried Rice, nestled under a blanket Cucumber Slaw, the flavor of the seared outside against the soft sensitive interior is absolutely delightful. Once the Fresh Florida Stone Crab Claws got in you, you are done for. My gal had never had the pleasure of the crabbiest of claws, and it is my birthday so why not?! Even better, they were pre-cracked! I do not shy away from working for my food, but I will take the help. Served with a side of lemon to hose it down with, you do not need anything else but tastebuds, bud. The Dessert does not have a name (that I could find). The best way to describe this was toasted marshmallow igloo, housing a multi-layer interior of deliciousness. It truly was fantastic. Did I mention that they light it on fire? I had always heard about this spot for happy hour, and events. Now that I have been, I will be back. Great for a high-class happy hour, fancy formal event, or a fantastic way to celebrate a birthday, if you are into that. Thank YOU for a lovely birthday ”

“ The food and service were outstanding. The waiter convinced me to step out of my comfort zone and try chilled seafood, which I try and avoid while dining out. So the stone crab claws, served cold, were absolutely incredible. The waiter also went above and beyond when he learned we were celebrating a birthday, making our night truly unforgettable. This seafood restaurant is a must-visit. The stone crab claws are a highlight--generous portions with fresh, sweet meat that's hard to come by in Texas. The lobster roll is another standout, with perfectly toasted, crispy bread. We also enjoyed the crab cake and fried calamari salad, where the slightly sweet sauce beautifully complemented the flavors. The food presentation is exquisite, and the portions are generous. I always look forward to my culinary experiences in Texas, and this Truluck's location is by far my favorite among the many across the U.S. ”

“ Enjoyed my experience here! The seafood was very fresh, which I highly appreciated! Tried the stone crab (cracked so I didn't have to fight with my food), filet mignon, and lobster (they had South African and Australian lobster on top of the lobster on the menu)--all excellent! And finished it all with an amazing chocolate cake with hot Godiva chocolate poured on it. Loved it. Impeccable service. Chill to biz casual ambiance, but tasteful with beautiful flowers on the tables and nice arrangements around the place. ”
